Standout nose, bright red and black fruit. Blackberry pie, boysenberry, fruit fell off and a little hot. Overpromise and under deliver.

I guessed this one right. Most mature of the 01's. A bit of cigar box, oak, sharp in the midpallet and a little hollow. Simple finish.

2001 TOR Cabernet Sauvignon West Block

Another I got right at the 01 Napa Cab tasting. Plum and black olive nose. Sweet oak, relaxed tannin and a little hot and disjointed midway through. Medium finish but good all around.

Got this one right. 3-8 on the evening. Clean dark hanging fruit. Broad midpallet, well integrated with lots of ripe fruit.Great balance, very good and long finish.
