Tonight dark fruit seemed to dominate but there were some burnt rubber notes that were just abit off putting. This seemed to have a fairly chunky nature today compared to the other wines in the flight. This was the second favorite tonight.

Pretty blue and dark fruit, earth and spice with a med finish. The lightest and favorite of the flight. Very enjoyable.

2006 Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier Nuits-Saint-Georges Clos des Fourches 88 Points

Soft, feminine cherry notes in a lighter bodied format with chalky tannins on the finish. Fairly simple but nice.
