Salmon colour with a coppery note; estery cherries, clear hint of nuts, showing evolution; strawberry flavours, a serious wine with more weight, gravitas and tight minerality than their usual NV styles; good length, citrus.
Lemon and elderflower, floral and fruity, juicy and rounded but dry enough, ripe fruit flavours, elegant bitters; good length. Not very complex but an excellent, forward aperitif.
Lovely Aligote, riper vintage than 2008 so slightly softer and more fruity, but very clean and pure, crisp, lemony, minerally and herby and with great varietal character.
