Don't think I have ever had Jadot's Beaune Grèves blanc before from any vintage. Ripe fruit aromas and flavors but good balance and consistency from start-to-finish.

Very similar to the 3 or 4 others times I've had this wine since release. Slightly floral start, then exceptional orchard fruit and lemon aromas. More lemon, lemon peel flavors, very clean and direct finish, even if not the most powerful vs. other great vintages of Jadot's Demoiselles.

Ripe orchard fruit with hints of tropical fruit and plenty of new oak spice for now. Also lush on palate, but the wine's great concentration and density help keep it balanced with surprisingly clear signs of good acidity.
An impressive Beaune 1er, Jacques thinks this wine will really outperform long-term in this vintage. Mostly dense black fruit aromas, then similar on palate with an austere, backward character but lots of pent-up concentration.

Very surprisingly good for the vintage. Black fruit aromas with a bit of an animale character. Black fruit and modest spice on palate with no bitter traces at all. Perhaps a leaner styled Mazis than in most vintages...but better lean than green.

Black fruit aromas with modest spice. Not forthcoming on palate but showing good density. Faintest hint of a green edge on finish, but it comes through less bitter and more like bell pepper.

This has really firmed up beautifully since I first tasted shortly after release. Ripe black fruit aromas with some background spice and an overall fresh character. Powerful, dense and balanced blackberry and black cherry on palate. Good length.

Lots of red fruit with background baking spice. Slightly backward fruit on palate with firm tannins and acidity, spice really comes through on finish. Very nice but will take a while in the cellar.

An excellent Clos Vougeot in the making, with dense black and red cherry aromas and meaty spice. Very firm on palate, somewhat backward in middle, but elegant and concentrated on long finish. 92-94 point potential to me, but hold to 2020 or later.
