Bright and youthful. Fruity nose, cherries and strawberries, a touch of oak. Sweet and fruity attack, a hint of tannin, classic burgundy for drinking this year and next, quite long.
Light colour, still looking youthful. The nose starts off oaky, then sweet, fruity and perfumed. Rich fruit, quite oaky, not very tannic, medium length.
Quite a light colour, fairly youthful. I love this nose, very attractive, bit of delicious development. Very sweet attack, but dry and tannic, reasonable balance, rather sweet mid palate and finish.
New Zealand, North Island, Wairarapa, Martinborough
Quite a light colour, still youthful. Fruity, with the perfume of roses, with development. Sweet attack, good balance, nice dry rich round mid palate, a bit of oak, bitter dry finish, quite long.
Surprisingly youthful. Initially a very typical pinot nose, then sweet fruit, a delicate nose. Very sweet attack, not too oaky, very soft tannins, slightly disappointing, not very long.

Substantial age showing, quite light. Fresh, slightly floral and fruity nose. Quite oaky, fruity, good tannin, quite full in the mid palate, fair length.
Substantial colour, not much age. Blackcurrants and herby nose, initially a bit sulphurous. Very sweet attack, loads of extracted fruit, very, very soft tannins, a hint of oak, a round mid palate, not too sweet, quite long.
