Tasted double blind. Quickly decanted and poured. Clearly started with alluring Vosne-styled aromas of red fruit and plenty of spice. Great red cherry and baking spice on palate, very approachable and delicious today, despite clearly being so young. While the fruit isn't lush and ripe, it is beautifully precise, lean and elegant. Very exciting.

Tasted double blind. Popped and poured. Dense and firm black fruit with meaty spice aromas. Dense and firm flavors with subtle background spice, somewhat backward. today. Lots of potential, but this will require lots of patience as well.

Served double blind to the tasting group. Age appropriate combination of fruit and earthy aromas and flavors. Lots of spice. Great textures that I often associate with the best wines from Morey-St. Denis. Long and firm finish with slightly rugged, rustic edge at its very finish.

Tasted double blind. Approachable fruit on both nose and palate with modest spice. Soft, well integrated and nicely balanced. Well textured and elegant finish. I haven't tasted this wine since shortly after release and continue to be very pleased with this wine in the vintage that I've found particularly tough in Nuits St. Georges.

Tasted double blind. Lots of barnyard aromas to start. Black and even slightly blue fruit flavors that come across slightly more advanced and mature than I would typically expect from a 2006, but also still fairly structured. Others liked this more than I did today.
Tasted double blind. Huge fruit, somewhat advanced. Clearly modern styled wine with lots of new oak spice that is quite nice, but still protrudes a little today. Others liked this much more than I did today.
