One of the wines of the tasting. Really loved the sleek seductive styling of this wine. Cool blue fruit with some serious earth and funky aromas. Smoke and savory meat. Had a little bit of everything. Really really nice wine.
Surprisingly nice. Haven't always loved Axios wines in the past. Beautiful polished wine. Really ripe and balanced mouth feel. Long finish. No rough edges. Excellent.
Awesome sexy style of Barolo. Pretty big and in your face. Gorgeous floral and sweet spice action on the front end. Beautiful ripe fruit. New meets Old World. Elegant and rustic qualities as well as flamboyant pink flowers and peppercorns.
More iron and mineral qualities. Still some really nice underlying funk. Not over the top as far as ripe fruit but still this has some nice newer world qualities. A little sexy and stylish.
Are you kidding me? This is out of control. I want to pour this over pancakes or vanilla ice cream. So dark in color. Super dark sweet roasted nuts, maple, brown butter. Rich thick viscous mouth feel with impeccable balance on the finish. So many layers of aromas and flavors I can't list them all. This stuff is bonkers good. Wow. Worth every penny if you can find a bottle.
