A pale straw wine with a light body, The nose has an odd aroma, not bad, just disconcerting with peach, yeast and brine. Leading with tastes of peaches, followed by grapefruit and slate. The finish is short with more of the same. Does not keep your interest for long.
Pale gold with a light to medium body, the Allegrini Soave has nose of brine and delicate floral scents. Creamy and smooth in the mouth with tastes of lemon. I found it just on the edge of flabby, but perhaps it was just getting too warm. So, let's just say it is somewhat low on acidity. The finish was short with lemon citrus. Overall, I thought it was very nice, bringing all that is appealing in Garganega forward in this bottle.

Scents of faint apple, along with tastes of green apple and hints of citrus sums up the main theme of the Domaine des Cassagnoles Cotes du Gascogne. The wine has a pale straw hue and a light to medium body. The finish was short with green apple. The wine is a blend of 50% Colombard, 40% Ugni Blanc, and 10% Gros Manseng.
Light bodied with a pale straw hue, the Marquis de Gelida Xarello has a nose of pear, with tastes of ripe pear and nectarine. The finish has decent length with nectarine and subtle hints of bitter almond. All organic.
Pale straw with a medium body, the Bodegas Nekas Vega Sindoa Chardonnay has a nose of yeast, pear, and lots of oak. In the mouth, the wine is pleasantly creamy with tastes of pear, and oak. The finish has citrus and oak. The oak is heavy, but not overwhelming. Very nice overall.
