Pleasantly surprised by this - not nearly as heavy as Madiran/Argentine tannat I've tasted. Strong vegetal - almost yeasty - nose initially but that quickly dissipates and is replaced with softer fruit aromas. Medium bodied with fine tannins and refreshing acidity.
