Deep yellow. Honeyed with some high toned perfume. Lush, herbal, just off dry entry followed quickly by a serious, dry finish. Pretty fascinating feel and flavors. Not sickeningly fragrant like some Scheurebe.
Light color. Lemon, floral nose. Full bodied with good cling. Dry and mineral, lime fruit, powerful acidity, long finish. Compelling mouthful for a $20 bottle.
Medium yellow. Apple jelly and honey. Off dry, excellent acidity. Starts out with strong botrytis imprint and concentrated on the entry, but the intensity drops off halfway through, and the finish seems diffuse and not entirely clean. Curious showing.
Pungent varietal scents of lychee. Quite weighty and sweet for a Kabinett. Spicy mid-palate. The finish falls off, but this is still a good German Gewurztraminer that is not aggressively varietal in the mouth.
Medium ruby. Black cherry and wood smoke. Surprising volume and depth of fruit that is strongly framed by high char oak. As much as I usually hate this style of vinification, it somehow worked here. Can't say I've ever had a red German Meunier before!

Full yellow. Tropical fruit and glue aromas (like a Marsanne). Full bodied but bland palate.
