Lovely nose of Vanilla, lemon rind, custard and petrol component.
Similar notes on the palate with an additional note of minerals.
A lovely balanced wine with great acidity. Medium plus finish.

Explosive rich nose of lemon rind, apricot and vanilla pastry. Very dessert like.
Great acidity. For me it got a little flabby on the midpalate and a little heat crept in on the backend. But this could just be my palate perception after going from the '04 Jadot Puligny-Montrachet. Very masculine in style. This is a big powerful Rhone white that could use more bottle age to really shine.

Awesome line-up of oregon pinot's. Honestly I would drink any of these on any given night. Just Great....Big thanks to fasteddie35 for popping these three lovely bottles.
Drank along side the '02 Cumberland and '02 Arcus.
Love the funky nose on this pinot. Forest floor, mushrooms, cherries and leather. More mineral on the palate with cherries and this lovely minty note on the backend leading into the finish. Medium plus finish. Balance and delicous.

Drank alongside the '02 Bergstrom Vineyard and '02 Arcus.
Just a gorgeous nose of raspberries, rhubarb, earth and spice notes. Super young. Vosne in style.
Cherry cola on the palate. Slight mintyness on the midpalate. Long finish.
This to me was very Burundian in style versus the other two wine we tasted.

Decant half an hour before serving with lamb chops. Cork split in half on extraction, but came out in two pieces. Tasted alongside the '81 Volcanic Hill.
Color was slightly lighter than the Volcanic Hill.
Great nose of dry tobacco leaves, leather/beef jus with a little roasted tomato component.
Cedar meets tobacco along with an animal meatiness and hints of dark fruit still lingering in the background. Smooth round wine, tannins are still there but very silky. medium plus finish. A wine that is still holding on strong and will probably last another five years easily.

Decant half an hour before serving with lamb chops. Cork came out in one piece, with wine stains half way up the cork. Tasted alongside the '81 Gravelly Meadow.
Great color. Darker than the Gravelly Meadow.
Big nose of tobacco, leather, baking spice, dark berries and a lovely floral component.
Dark berries, baking spice and this great cola component on the backend. Smooth tannins. Elegant. Beautifully balanced wine that's drinking extremely well right now. Long lingering finish. I could see this holding for another decade or more.

A very hedonistic wine. Caymus SS like without the big price tag.
BiG vanilla, cassis, cupcake icying dominate the nose. Lots of oak influences on the palate with heavy vanilla, chocolate, dark berries coming through.
Very young. Round silky tannins. A heavyweight ready to deliver the TKO to your palate. A style of wine I have graduated from, but still like when the mood strikes me.

NV Paul Dethune Champagne Brut Rosé 90 Points
France, Champagne
Very yeasty and bread dough notes along with strawberries and red apples.
I agree with some of the other notes here that this seems to come across as one dimensional, but with additional air exposure in the glass this wine got better and more aromatic. This may need a year or two in the bottle to really come around.

Cooper in color. Big nose of strawberries and raspberries in heavy cream along with a lovely floral note.
Marzipan/Nutty flavors along with strawberries and minerals. Very Creamy on the palate. Very fine bubbles gracefully dance across your tongue. Long nutty finish. Superb bottle of Rose. Super young and vibrant at the moment. This is one to lay down and open in another ten years.
