The only good public wine tasting of 2012 in Minneapolis. Solid wines overall and always good to try a variety of Italian wines I might never purchase.

Nice stuff with rose petals, ripe fruit and spices. A balanced effort with medium to long finish. Picks up some vanilla flavors on the finish. Not a powerful wine but plenty there and should age for over a decade or more.

Double decanted with floral, spices, minerals and cranberry notes. Medium finish and a balanced wine. While it is young it still shows a ton now with more to come for years.

Rose petals, leather and earth. Young and tannic. Needs time to develop so we will see what happens. 88+ After seeing other notes and the fact this was not decanted and prepared properly I would have to not rate the wine at this time. It is amazing that those in the trade do not spend time preparing wines to show their best.
