Introduction
"Enologica" is always a good event to attend, especially on monday when operators only are allowed.
Just wines from Romagna and Emilia are represented. This time I concentrated on METODO CLASSICO (Champenois) from Emilia...with some surprises.
NV Luretta Principessa Emilia IGT 82 Points

Brilliant, very lightgolden yellow . Very small perlage.
Very delicate at nose: panettone with candies, yeasts.
Dry and well balanced. Medium body at taste.
80% Chardonnay, 20% Pinot nero. 18 months on yeasts.

Brilliant light golden yellow.
Not very impressive at nose, with some hints of bread crust.
Maybe a bit corked. 36 months on yeasts.

Brilliant old pink. Distant small red fruits at nose.
Fruity at taste, but just above average level.
Dry, good acidity and well balanced.

Brilliant light golden yellow. Intense nose with nice hints of bread crust.
Very good acidity, but leaving a sweet after taste not very pleasent. (Also if 13g/lt sugar declared). 48 months on yeasts. [AiS Rom 80/85 2013]

2003 Lini 910 Metodo Classico Rosé In Correggio Emilia IGT 79 Points

Very fading pink. Weak at nose too, with hints of strawberry and blackcurrant.
Dry and fruity, but weak all around and still with a sweety sensation. 36 months on yeasts. [LM: 80/2009] [AiS Rom 80/85 2013]

NV Medici Ermete Unique Rosé Brut 83 Points

100% Lambrusco, variety "Marani". 2 years on yeasts. Degorgeé 2012
Brilliant antique pink. Not intense at nose, but elegant reminds of yeasts.
Very dry and fruity at taste, with a crystal clear strawberry taste.[AiS 74/79 2013]

2008 Francesco Bellei Brut Rosso Extra Cuvée Emilia IGT 80 Points

12 m. on yeasts and 100% Lambrusco di Sorbara.
Light brick red. Nice fast foam.
Fruity at nose, more fruit than yeast.
Dry at taste, but not very flavoursome. [AiS Rom <75 2013]

Nice golden yellow, but...that is all...mature, but almost rotten fruit at nose.
Dry, but oxydized at nose...hope it was defective....

Full brilliant pink. Floreal at nose: Oleander and small red fruits

An entirely new wine, first issue from Pinot noir and Chardonnay.
Very light pink, with nice foam. Delicately fruity at nose. Coherent at taste, still delicate.

More straw yellow with pink tones than stright pink... Yeasts dominant at nose.
Dry and alcoholic, with a good delicate fruity note.

Nice hints of Bread crust at nose;
Dry and good acidity, with a clear reminds of yeasts. Long finish on white grape notes. [AiS 85/90 2013]
