  Unbalanced, the tannin is intrusive but the body is quite light - doesn't seem to make much sense really. And the fruit is unripe and acidic. Meh.

  Rhubarb, perfumed notes, some black fruit as well and touches of herbaceous mint and eucalyptus that does come over as a touch stalky. It's a bit young and disjointed.

  Muted, slight plum and touches of toasted oak. The wine has a full tannic structure but just doesn't seem to be able to get it all together. Not convinced.

The pinots, italians, tempranillo and cab sav/merlot brackets were most disappointing. The shiraz and durif (petite syrah) brackets were, for me, the most successful.
