Taking on a more mature color, noticeably more reddish that the others. Very dark red fruit here too, black cherry or something, coffee, leather, a note of port. But I really feel like this wine is just missing something...midpalate is blah and the finish just trails off....
This is a pretty decent wine, but isn't going to be a revelation or anything. This is probably as mature as this wine is going to get, drink 'em.

Young, bright purple color. Concord grape, vanilla, oak, hint of citrus, it just smells young! Also feels more complete than the other ones...just has more oomph to it throughout.
Very tannic though, mouth drying in fact, and out of balance that way. Needs some time there.
It's a good wine, and I like the youthfulness of this. It edges the '08 and '09 out for me, as it seems to be a bit more put together than the other two, and I do think these are made to drink young. I'm kind of meh on the way they seem to be aging though.

My first impression was that this was shut down compared to the other two, and from the last time I had it. I think it might be in a bit of a weird place right now. Very muted overall to me.
I really notice blackcurrant and dust in the nose, not much else. Not much fruit in the palate to go with the toasty oak, but I swear there's a hint of orange peel, and my wife gets kiwi. Like the '08, I just feel like something is missing here.
It's a decent wine, and I think if you didn't drink them young, sit on them for now.

Good, well crafted wine showing some character and place. Has that extra something in the nose that just makes me think of Napa...dark black and red fruit, chocolate, coffee, hint of smooth, fine tannins. Well balanced.
This seems to be drinking well with air, but will probably evolve a bit more in the bottle. Give it a longer decant now, 6+ hours, or leave it alone for another year and see where it goes.
