NV Veuve Clicquot Champagne Brut 90 Points

Had this twice over 5 nights. very nice fruit. At a tasting last week it was impressive. Apple and pear notes with some citrus. Good energy and weight, minerals. The last bottle was much more chalky and a bit bitter on the end. First bottle at tasting was better. 90pts and then 89pts. I do see some noticeable bottle variations.

Very nice bottle with bright tropical fruit and good minerality. Consistent with previous note. Nice density with a long finish.

2007 Domaine Serene Pinot Noir Evenstad Reserve 93 Points

Dark red color. Pnp, drank 2 glasses over an hour plus. Absolutely stellar. Very consistent with last note. Finesse, beautiful berry fruit, earth and mushrooms, floral notes, vanilla and spice with so much richness on the palate. Long finish. This drinking well and getting better.

2000 Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande Les Gartieux de Pichon Lalande 95 Points

Very dark red color. Decanted for 1 hr and drank 2+ glasses over 1.5hrs. People may find it hard to believe just how good this wine is. This has the most incredible nose. It wafts out of the glass and expands through the room. I literally was totally distracted from what was an incredible tasting menu. The perfume of florals is intense and pure followed by bright cherry, cassis, earth, funk, leather, truffle.
Feminine on the palate, so classy, very long finish, 90+ seconds.
