Lovely pale, pink colour; very subtle and elegant, understated even, very refined orange fruit, white flowers, like drinking mountain water infused with white peach and flowers, silky, seamless, long.
Wonderfully stylish, piercing minerality and lovely gooseberry fruit, cool but so smooth and silky, very expressive but gentle and calm, seamless, perfect weight, dry but well-rounded, excellent length.
The oak is slightly caramelly and still a bit dominant, but the blackcurrant fruit convinces, the texture is satiny, medium-weight, sleek, ripe tannins, not very deep, seems quite soft for a young Pauillac, good length. Not easy to predict where this is going but a lovely drink already.
Muscat. An essence of apricot, incredibly aromatic, deep and spicy, very sweet, amazing bitters, lip-licking acidity, wonderful balance, excellent length.
