Attractive, open and aromatic nose, floral (rose), lovely blackcurrant fruit, gravelly minerality, hint of spice and cocoa from the oak; on the palate quite light and slightly dry but there is no real lack of stuffing and it is helped along by the toasty oak; good length. A very serviceable wine that wears some make-up but shows a pretty face.
