Slightly reductive on the nose, white flowers, citrus and slate; bright and jolly on the palate, elegant and refreshing, clean and pure, dry but with some natural juicy sweetness; decent length. Lovely Gutsriesling.

Perfectly matured, totally harmonious, vibrant and energetic, concentrated but very precise, powerful but very moreish, as fresh as a daisy, slightly honeyed, wonderful ripe fruit and fabulous salty creamy spicy minerality; excellent length. What a wine! A truly great GG. Winner of the Bernard Breuer Trophy in the Gault Millau Wine Guide Deutschland 2013.

Very intense and deep nose, honeyed and spicy, lemon, custard and peach, herbs and smoky slate; on the palate medium-sweet but linear, richness balanced by a wall of wonderful acidity and salty minerals, incredible energy, good stuffing, lemons and cream, peach, salted butter; excellent length. An excellent Auslese that has just entered it first plateau of maturity. Drink now - 2035.
