Introduction
Not a good showing and proof that Washington Cabs should be drunk within five to seven years of vintage. Many wines sampled years ago were far superior.
2005 Meek Family Estate Inherit 89 Points

Should have drank these a year ago. Not as good and lost the fruit. Menthol, spice, licorice and minerals. Medium finish.

2005 Col Solare 92 Points

Decanted about 1.5 hours. 2 Vinturi. Opened up in glass over 45 minutes and showed leather, spice, cherry, blueberries and earth. Very Old World in style which would indicate Antinori's involvement in the project. Medium finish and complex. 92+ Drink to 2018.

2004 Dunham Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Lewis Vineyard 92 Points

Got better in glass. Decanted an hour and one Vinturi. Mellow wine with cherry, dust, strawberry, and spice. Complex but not powerful on the palate. Medium plus finish. Should improve with a few years in the cellar.

Last bottle and should have drank a year ago. Not close to the last bottle experience. Nice nose of cigar, menthol, cherry and forest floor but the palate fell thin. Not the complexity or fruit profile of the last bottle.

Terrible and past peak. Last bottle was great but this is port like on the palate. No acid and smoke and minerals dominate. This confirms to me drink all Washington State Cabs within five years of vintage.
