Pretty, elegant, red-fruited nose. Similar palate. Crunchy red berry fruit. Lovely and probably my favorite of the flight. Shame the price of this has gone up so much the last few vintages, I used to be a buyer.
Nose is earthy and a bit funky. Earthy palate with tart cherries and tannin. Perhaps in a dumb phase, obviously too young to expect this vineyard to be showing its full potential. Needs time.

Deep, ripe red fruited nose with baking spices. Intense, dark fruited palate with tannin and toasty oak. A big wine from a warm vintage that needs 15+ years.

Slightly bretty nose but not offensive. Beautiful in the mouth, red fruit, some earth and spice, all really well integrated. My co-WOTF along with the Bruno Clair.

Aged Burg nose, sweet fruit and forest floor. Mix of sweet and tart fruit, savory mushroom, some balsamic notes. Plenty of material here, probably not on its way down yet but not sure how much better it will get. Not bad.

Nice, deep, red fruited nose. Big and extracted on the palate, lots of fruit skin tannin. Needs time.

Showing some age on the nose, sweet cherry fruit along with some woody notes. Tight, woody palate, another one that needs time.
