    Underbrush, rotting logs, sweet and sour; fresh, very pleasant, decent length, sweet and sour in the moth as well, fresh.

    On the nose there is actually some mocha beans, deep; in the mouth is a bit angular, still some tannin, fresh and tight, charmless.

    Forest floor, a bot oxidative, some raisin; in the mouth it is round and warm, full body, long, but wanting in acidity and complexity. With air the dried fruit component gets stronger. Definitely a sub-par bottle.

    CS dominated nose with black currants; disjointed in the mouth: lots of acidity and tannins – but the fruit is warm, not very complex, and oaky. May integrate, but I am not entirely convinced.

    Thought this was corked at first and discarded it, spilt opinions around the table. Into the bucket. A very experienced taster disagreed and let his glass sit. After 3-4 hours it had become a very deep and rounded wine. Too little to rate, but definitely a good wine.

    Mixture of Spearmint and brett, some thought it might have hint of TCA, but after a while it became clear that this was not the issue, but it was not quite correct bottle. Unclean. Short, lacking fruit

    Deep and sweet fruit on the nose, spicy and floral, very complex; a combination of a surprising full body (for a 83), sweet fruit and fine acidity/structure. A crowd pleaser, but what is wrong with that? Approaching its plateau.
