Medium yellow. Ripe aromatics of low pitched citrus. Relatively full, a touch of residual sugar, lush feel, lower acidity. Easygoing wine for early consumption.
Light yellow/green. Some florality. Light weight, very saline, not at all fruit driven. Good acidity, oyster shell finish. I did not find the wood as noticeable as last time.

Medium center, light edge. Brambly, anise aromatics. Light entry but builds impressively to a more mouthcoating feel with a hint of chocolate and powerful black fruit in the back. I was taken aback by how good this was, and it shows no hint of '09 overripeness.
Medium ruby, light rim. Graphite nose. Medium body but relatively lush feel with gently woody base. Good, sappy blueberry fruit followed by excellent acidity, snap and blacker fruit at the end. This too is quite good for a village Beaune.
