Good tension in the nose, fresh flowers, some lime and peach as well as vanilla tones. Nice yellow and little tropical fruits on the palate with vanilla and young oak in the finish. Good acidity, and the oak is not overpowering the fruits to me/ well integrated. Drinks well now.

Excellent acidity and sweetness in balance. Thick tannins, excellent integration. Holds up well against the Lafite 1989, more masculine than the (feminine and elegant) Lafite as Tex mentioned. A long life ahead.

Medium dark, brownish on the rim. Very-Cordier funky nose, tobacco, coffee, herbs, earth, blood and iron tones. Earth, autumn leaves and herbs on the palate. Well balanced and powerful, fully mature. But missing the delineation you would expect from this famous wine. Not as good as some of the other bottles tonight.
