The Paris Wine Tasting of 1976 - Part Deux

The tasting was an attempt to recreate The Paris Wine Tasting of 1976 on a miniature scale.

We had six (6) participants (me, Phil, Patrick, Josh, Stan & Richie) & one (1) officiant (Tyler). I provided both whites, a Bordeaux & the "curveball" Quilceda Creek. Phil, Stan & Tyler brought the other three (3) Bordeaux red wines while Patrick, Josh & Richie brought the three (3) California red wines.

Tyler decanted all wines into various decanters to preserve the blind & unbiased nature of this tasting. He then paired the reds into four (4) flights following the white flight & Champange tasting.

Each participant placed their vote for which wine was Bordeaux and which wine was California for each flight and provided their vote for which was the best wine of each flight. Upon the completion of the tasting, each participant voted for the best wine of the night. Tyler, the officiant, tracked the votes.

In summary, Bordeaux was the clear winner for this reinactment of The Paris Wine Tasting of 1976.
