  Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer

  Very light silver.
  Fragrant, gentle citrus noses with some minerality.
  Slightly fruity attack, good acidity, pretty dry, with a hint of bitterness in the mid palate.

• 2012 Spy Valley Riesling 89 Points

  New Zealand, South Island, Marlborough

  Very light silver.
  Fragrant with some complexity, a hint of apricot along with citrus notes.
  Quite a sweet attack, delicious, balanced, refreshing, ripe fruit in the mid palate, good length.

  South Africa, Coastal Region, Cape Peninsula, Constantia

  Light gold.
  Fragrant, very mineral with a bit of spice.
  Very fruity attack, characteristic Riesling taste, refreshing - but somehow not very satisfying.

  Light gold.
  Petrol fragrance at first, then citrus nose, complex.
  Intensely fruity attack, ripe and rich, good acidity, complex, minerality in the mid palate, very long.

  Austria, Niederösterreich, Kamptal

  Light gold.
  Apple and citrus nose, good complexity.
  Fruity, rich, soft mouth feel, very full mid palate, very long.

• 2006 Grosset Riesling Polish Hill Clare Valley 92 Points

  Australia, South Australia, Mount Lofty Ranges, Clare Valley

  Light gold.
  Weird nose, some minerality and lots of citrus notes.
  Austere, still very youthful in the mouth, strong mineral feel, rich mid palate, extremely long. I'd drink this 2018 onwards.

  France, Alsace, Alsace Grand Cru

  Quite intense gold.
  Strong barley sugar nose, very attractive.
  A sweetish, fruity attack, loads of good acidity, refreshing and complex mid palate.
