Vertical of Scholium The Prince in his Caves, a skin contact SB. My favorite by far was the 2006 which is, I think, the 1st vintage of this wine. I did not care for the other ones as I found them big, alcoholic and lacking balance.
Just wrote down very brief notes.
2008 Scholium Project The Prince In His Caves Farina
USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Mountain
Skin contact. Nice nose with apricot, tea. Palate is big and alcoholic. Definitely hard to pinpoint as sauvignon blanc.

Skin contact. Similar to the 2008 but more savory. Still alcoholic.

2010 Scholium Project The Prince In His Caves Farina
USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Mountain
Skin contact. Not as ripe as the 08 with lemon, lime and tea on the nose. Palate is more exotic though.

Funny as this one doesn't seem to have any skin contact flavor wise. Nutty, salty cashew, oily. Savory.
Much more interesting than the recent vintages.
