Flight 2 (3 Notes)

  • 1983 Château Pontet-Canet 88 Points

    France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Pauillac

Tobacco, figs and slightly medicinal. Smoked bacon, mushrooms and forest notes with intense acidity and even more tobacco.

Clearly on a lower level than current releases but still quite good

  • 1989 Penfolds Bin 389 93 Points

    Australia, South Australia

Classic Auzzie Shiraz nose, black cherry jam, beef seasoning, really nice length and beautiful balance. Love it!

  • 1983 Château Beychevelle 93 Points

    France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Saint-Julien

Beautiful leather, mocha, wood, chocolate powder and tobacco nose. Still some tannin left. This wine feels like you are smack in the middle of an english gentleman's club
