Wonderfully floral and aromatic nose, crushed red fruit, spice, mineral freshness, good depth, very subtle oak, very youthful and lively, very peppery; the palate is so elegant and fresh, very much like a Pinot Noir, mineral, seamless, silky perfect oak integration, very energetic, bright fruit flavours; very good length.
Spicy, hearty, beef stock, ripe fruit, lovely balance, medium weight, nice sweetness, mostly resolved tannins, satiny but with a slightly rough edge, good length.
Very primary, pure and clean, natural wine feel to it, fresh fruit, cherries and violets, mineral, ripe acidity, attractive, finish falls off a cliff however. Some oak would have been nice.
Deep orange amber colour; impressive, masculine core of salted caramel and steely acidity, honeyed, hint of fresh apple, orange zest, dates and figs, ethereal floral topnotes, wonderful energy and drive, tangy but ripe acidity; very good length. Impressive, will continue to improve.
