Radiant, alsmost fluorescent lemon yellow colour; fresh, mineral, citrus nose; on the palate refreshing but slightly loose; decent length but tails off aromatically.

Sombre, medium-deep colour; deep nose with mediterranean herbs and some spice, mature but vibrant, black fruit, mineral/asphalt depth, oak adds warmth; the palate shows balance and tension, freshness and warmth, ripe tannins, medium weight, clean flavours; very good length. Neither modern nor rustic, just a traditional wine, very well made.

Singe-vineyard Sangiovese and Canaoiolo. Deep and rich colour, good saturation, little evolution; starting to develop meaty, even gamey aromas, deep and rich, velvety, hints of stalkiness and spice; satiny and rich palate, rounded but with good structure, harmonious, seamless even, sweet raspberry fruit, spices, deep; good length. Oddly not very expressive right now, but clearly impressive.
