Thursday "school-night" wine tasting. 8 bottles of Rhone and Bordeaux blends ranging from 2002 - 2009. Decanted and single blind. Some decanted up to 4 hours.

Lots of sediment when I decanted it. 4 hour decant. Big fruit bomb for first couple hours of drinking. Then it softened and was pleasant. I'd recommend a 6-10 hour decant at this stage, unless you like 'em huge.
