Dense dark core with lighter crimson rim; sweet cherry, sandalwood, sexy, luxurious, no oakiness, plummy; almost raisiny level of ripeness but it has good acid to keep it in balance, menthol, brawny, young for this bottling but with enough decanting it is fairly accessible compared to other vintages.

Crimson with orange rim; sweet red fruit, acorn, a little funk, tobacco; sweet cherry, orange, cranberry, tannic, once we gave this more air it opened up with more softness and sex appeal, red licorice; liked the evolution in the glass.
Dark garnet almost to rim; red currant, Stromboli with pepperonis and cheese, youthful, sweet note, and dusty on the nose; tart red and dark fruit, silky texture, fine grained tannin though there is a wall of it, fresh fruit which I rarely get out of Tuscany; very good!
Lighter straw; white peach, floral, some leesiness, waxy, apple, pear, medium + body, sweet fruit; Old World drinkers enjoyed it and were nowhere near California on this.

Deep crimson almost to rim; cherry, menthol, roses, cedar, seemingly modern style, copper penny, rusty note; sweet softer, very cherry, lower acid, drier on the back but not harsh tannin; called '04 Antinori BdM and was surprised how clean this Pertimali was because I detected no Brett; very good.
