    Apricot, pears and peach with a touch of ginger. Quite soft on the palate, with medium length. Has some appeal.

    Pungent nose, lemon, passion fruit and a spirit note. Punchy acidity, there is some interesting texture to it. Decent.

    Asparagus, barrel character, honeyed nose and palate. Rounded on the palate, the acidity is a bit spiky and the structure is not really there.

    Meaty, with tar, licorice, violets and cherry. The palate has character, it's not overly deep but there is good intensity of flavour and there is some texture that gives it more interest. Some herbal and mint notes on the palate.

    The nose is super interesting - red cherry, violets and elderflower with passion fruit and musk. The palate is more simple, it treads a fine line between elegant fruit and green character. I liked this, I wish the palate was a bit better but I was still happy to drink it.

    Pepper, strawberry and meat with a green edge to it - a touch on the under ripe side of things for me. Quite interesting spice on the palate to compliment the palate.

    Nicely perfumed - sour cherry, spice/pepper, roses and minerals. Palate is medium bodied with more of that spice element. Good length and acidity, it is drinking well now, especially with food.

    Purple coloured. Cherry/kirsch and plums, pepper and tar. The palate is a little bit hard and while the fruit has some body, it doesn't assert itself. I think maybe a little more age on this would serve it well once it settles down.

    Earth, violets. spice and blackberry. Strong tannic influence, this needs some more time in the bottle and the fruit has enough density that it should last well.

    Earth, black currant, raspberry and chocolate. Rich and mouthfilling, with fantastic structure. Excellent balance even with the richness. Very youthful, it got even better in the glass. Will live for a long time more. A revelation.

    Dense blackberry and chestnut. Very intense palate, it isn't too bad if you are a fan of that big style but maybe a little heavy for me.

    Raspberry, tar, black currant and tobacco. Alcohol stands out a touch, but there is more to it than that. Plenty of dark, rich fruit and the tannins push back admirably.
