Berry Bros. & Rudd Tasting at the Audi Centre followed by drinks at home with Clare & Ding.
2010 Rocland Estate Chocolate Box Cherry Chocolate was good for the $31 I got it for. But the GSM blend was not exactly my friends' thing.
2009 Berry Bros. & Rudd Chassagne-Montrachet Jean-Claude Bachelet
France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Chassagne-Montrachet
Nicely oaked nose. Slightly roasty and nutty on the palate but otherwise rather light in style. Medium finish.

2008 Berry Bros. & Rudd Nuits St. Georges Berrys' Own Selection
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Nuits St. Georges
By Benjamin Leroux for Berry Bros. & Rudd. Strong fruity spicy nose. Robust palate, with some earth, game, and blueberries. Spice at the end. Long finish. Not bad, may improve with another 2-3 years.

2011 Berry Bros. & Rudd Côtes du Rhône
France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Côtes du Rhône
By Famille Perrin for Berry Bros. & Rudd. Nose of damp earth and garden after the rain. Lots of red berry fruits on the palate, but a touch on the sickly medicinal sweet side.

2008 Berry Bros. & Rudd Berrys' Own Selection St. Julien Chateau Lagrange
France, Bordeaux, Médoc, St. Julien
Nice ripe fruity nose with hints of earth. Sweet juiciness on the palate but big young tannins now. Can taste the potential. Give another 5 years in the cellar. Will reward with depth and more character in time to come.
