  Typical nose of violets, some greenness, a bit alcoholic.
  Lack of elegance. Pretty acidic. Excepting if you have food to pair, avoid this at this point.
  
  Típica nariz a violetas, algo de verdor, un poquito alcohólico.
  Falta de elegancia. Bien ácida. Exceptuando sí tienes comida para compartir, ahorrare esta ahora.

• 2003 Roberto Voerzio Barbera d'Alba Riserva Vigneto Pozzo dell'Annunziata

  Cherry coke aroma at first. Forest floor too. Tribute to complexity for a Barbera.
  Profound on the nose. Perfectly ready.
  Tamed tannins. Aristocratic texture. Quite refreshing yet delicious.
  One of my choices.
  
  Lo primero aromas a cola de cereza. Hojarasca también. Tributo a la complejidad para una Barbera.
  Profunda en nariz. Perfectamente lista.
  Taninos domados. Textura aristocrática. Bastante refrescante aunque deliciosa. Una de mis elecciones.

• 2005 Roberto Voerzio Langhe Merlot Fontanazza - Pissotta

  Despite that initial reduction, mineral (iron) hints, smoky Merlot with plums. Notes of humid earth, shoe polish... Perhaps a little touch of plastic, a defect.
  Extra dry in the mouth. Strong tannins.
  
  A pesar de esa reducción inicial, toques minerales (hierro), Merlot ahumada con ciruelas. Notas a tierra húmeda, betún... Quizás un pequeño toque a plástico, un defecto.
  Extra seca en boca. Fuertes taninos.

  Timid nose of earth, elegant anyway. Figs and white truffles too.
  An easy drink on the palate. Don't look for complexity here.
  
  Tímida nariz terrosa, elegante de todas formas. También higos y trufa blanca.
  Un trago fácil en boca. No busques complejidad aquí.

  Sugar beetroot, coal, chalk aromas
  Fragrant, superb on the nose.
  Austrian kirsch on the palate. Shortie yet elastic.
  
  Aromas a remolacha azucarera, carbón y tiza.
  Fragante, muy bueno en nariz.
  En boca kirsch austríaca. Cortita aunque elástica.

  Veggie nose. Cold and reserved. Too youthful I think.
  Direct acidity. Power for my jaws. Time will tell.
  
  Nariz vegetal. Frío y reservado. Demasiado joven creo.
  Acidez directa. Fuerza para mis mandíbulas. El tiempo dirá.

  Tons of sediments. In spite of that, what a nose: complex of truffles, flowers, earth,...
  Silky texture, delicious yet shortie persistence.
  
  Toneladas de sedimentos. A pesar de ello, qué nariz: compleja con trufas, flores, tierra,...
  Textura a seda, deliciosa aunque de cortita persistencia.

• 1998 Roberto Voerzio Barolo Cerequio

  Austere, classic, old school, Borgogno-style
  Tannins are very present.
  Little hottie, meaty, full of liquorice... Fireworks even!
  
  Austera, clásica, vieja escuela, estilo Borgogno.
  Taninos están muy presentes.
  Un pico calentita, cárnica, llena de regaliz... ¡Incluso petardos!
