    France, Burgundy, Chablis, Chablis 1er Cru

    Gorgeous chablis that features a suave texture. Super clean, great concentration, layered palate. This wine has good complexity. A wine that makes the most of the year and feels a point. Drinking extremely well at the moment - it is hard to resist it.

  • 2010 Moreau-Naudet & Fils Chablis 1er Cru Les Forêts 88 Points

    France, Burgundy, Chablis, Chablis 1er Cru

    The opulence of the vintage comes through in this melony, round wine with lower acid levels. Beautifully modulated with the start of bottle age complexity peeping through. Nice concentration and is drinking well now, although I would give this a few more years to let it blossom further.

  • 2009 Equis Cornas 92 Points

    France, Rhône, Northern Rhône, Cornas

    Rich and warm Cornas in the modern style. Heaps of authority on the palate with great fruit density, classy structure and a long modulated finish. Very 2009 in style. Drinks well now for its opulence but in time, the structure will reveal itself as tertiary aspects come to the fore. Outstanding.

    Really nice wine and great value in a sturdy South of France style. Warm, alcoholic and tannic with a beautiful marriage of the various varietals. The Syrah and Grenache, in particular feel very well judged here. Great to drink now for its richness and flamboyance. I imagine this will age and develop, but for my tastes, this is best now.
