Dark ruby with mature mahogany tinge. Expressive nose, elegantly showing dried fruits, blackcurrant, plum, earth, forest floor, leather, tobacco and hints of spice. Palate still exhibits lively fruits, blackcurrant, leather and dried plum. High acidity, smotth and mellow. Long subtle finish and tannins has fully resolved. A bit off balance with acidity too high but still a great bottle. Toward the end of tasting the fruits drying up but can feel that this is more robust than 1961 Clos Fourtet.

Very dark garnet red with brick red hue showing amazing youthful appearance. Subtle but beautiful nose, floral, mineral and blood interwoven with black and red fruits, cherry. Smooth and balance entry, beautifully harmony, with blackcurrant, smoke and good amount of fruits. Good vibrant acidity and fine and soft tannins.

Dark brooding red, deep & opaque with purple hue, still tight when pop & pour into glass, slowly open up after 2 hours. Blackberry, chocolate and toasted oak on the nose. Still a powerful wine with plenty of chocolaty, ripe fruits, blackberry, dark plum and spice. Big and full bodied but with good sense of balance. Long spicy finish with soft tannins. After tasted the 2 aged Bordeaux, this seems a bit low on acidity.
