The annual Christmas party, lots of food and lots of wine. Below are just a selection.
There were a bunch more, but I was not able to keep good notes, things were moving fast!
2012 Domaine Zinck Riesling
France, Alsace
Tasted double blind. This was very appley, lots of golden apple on the nose and the palate, a slight sweetness, very easy.

2010 Château Tour de Ségur
France, Bordeaux, Libournais, Lussac-St. Émilion
Tasted double blind. Gah, don't open this for another 5 years! This was just oak at the moment, toffee, vanilla, you name it, splinters on the palate. Fruit in the background waiting to come out.

2008 Sella & Mosca Alghero Tanca Farra
Italy, Sardinia, Alghero
Tasted double blind. This was an enjoyable wine, a bit citrusy at the moment, but nice blackberry, gritty tannins, fairly light on the palate.

Tasted double blind. Quite a strong wine, red berries like cranberrry, lots of tannins. Could take a few more years in the cellar.
