  Translucent with a hint of age.
  Quite a youthful nose, dry.
  Sweet attack, then highly acidic, strong tannins, not yet fully integrated but with lots of potential for aging successfully, promising elegance.

  Translucent, fairly youthful.
  Delicious sweet fruit nose, cooked cherries, oak.
  Fruity, solid tannins, balanced mid palate, a big wine, medium length.

  Attractive nose indicating development.

• 2006 Domaine Jean Grivot Clos Vougeot 94 Points

  France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Clos Vougeot Grand Cru

  Translucent, little sign of age.
  Lovely development on the nose, with the sweetness of cherries.
  A very complex wine, the lovely fruity attack gets somewhat swamped by the tannins - it's still far too young but what potential.

  Very dense for a pinot.
  A hint of development, some fruit and a touch of oak, a gentle nose.
  Fruity with soft tannins, drinking well, silky, soft mid palate, good length.
