    Better than expected. Vinous. Clearly a sweet and easy to enjoy wine - made for summer BBQs but it has had thought put behind it in terms of its construction. Pretty good and fun to start a summer's evening.

    Australia, Western Australia, South West Australia, Margaret River

    Great style - very new world yet layered with it, Lovely fruit sweetness, wonderful length and plenty of complexity. This is not a burgundy look a like but it demonstrates that chardonnay can convince in many guises.

    Un-oaked chardonnay with elevated NZ acid. Direct and bright but a little too fresh and slightly over-bearing.

  • 2009 Mt Rosa Pinot Noir 87 Points

    New Zealand, South Island, Otago, Central Otago

    Vey good example of a Central Otago Pinot fro a good vintage. Well balanced, plenty of fruit density and excellent balance. Very typical.
