at Arnoldo's

Closing this round of Super Tuscan wines, Arnoldo prepared a rich table of cheese & cold-cuts, then surprised us with a great main dish of wild boar fillet on polenta which was delicious!
Einat, his daughter prepared the very tasty macrons and truffles!
The wines were ok, though not great.
The 1997 Terrabianca Campaccio was a bit over the peak with lean body
The 2007 Gaja Brunello was too young, but a good one
The 2000 Sassicaia was very good, but not outstanding as I was expecting…
All in all it was a very enjoyable evening.
