Dark ruby red. Warm and beautiful bouquet of tobacco, cigar box interwoven with cassis, black cherry and capsicum. Medium bodied and elegant, classic left bank stuff with tobacco, cigar box, blackcurrant and black fruits. Richly mouthfeel with tart and lively acidity, balance and harmony and posses good finesse. Soft and fine tannins with long aftertaste. This is the standout wine for the night, even better than the bottle I brought to Jade Palace in August. Lovely.
Signature floral nose of Pontet with blackfruits, cassis, earth, forest floor and subtle notes of tobacco and cigar box. Still primary on palate, blackfruits, cassis, polished fruits and subtle tobacco, good ripeness, robust mid-palate, and balance acidity. Aged nicely and very enjoyable now with its beautiful balance. Long lasting finish with fine tannins. Showing very well tonight and definitely one of better wine alongside Barton.

Dark red with glossy crimson hue. Rich fruity nose, ripe and creamy, along with milk chocolate, blackcurrant, capsicum and toasted vanilla oak. Minty palate, capsicum and blackcurrant. Medium+ bodied, chocolate aftertaste with soft chewy tannins. Better than 06 I just tasted recently with more concentrated fruits.

Clear ruby red, complex nose of roasted herbs and exotic spice, subtle smokiness and hints of capsicum. On palate it has dark cherry, blueberry, herbs and white pepper. Chewy tannins with long finish, still young and not yet at its peak. Still need time to develop.
