  Tasting, brief note. Nicely floral start with lemon and lemon peel aromas and mint hints. Similar flavors coming through, lots of acidity and minerality give textural interest. Almost as good as the Batard-Montrachet.

  Tasting, brief note. Peach and ripe apple with a fair share of new oak spice. Very balanced and rounded with a nice edge from the excellent structure, this could easily be mistaken for 1er.

  Tasting, brief note. More forward and refined than the Fremiets. Also good anise, clove aromas with elegant red cherry flavors and aromas. Good power and balance middle to finish.

  Tasting, brief note. Ripe red and black cherry. More tannins, less acidity than the Chambolle Villages, giving it a meatier, denser character, but also less elegant. I know this wine always takes a long time to show itself, but just "88 points" for me today.

  Tasting, brief note. Great combination of ripe black cherry, red cherry, boysenberry aromas with some nutmeg, thyme and allspice. Seemingly forward aromas lead to more dense flavors that are borderline backward, but very nicely integrated with tannins. The rare 2007 that will benefit from a decade+ in cellar.

  Tasting, brief note. Red berries, roses and sweet brown spice to start. Similar on palate with a touch of black cherry coming across as well. Fruit is charming, forward and very pleasurable already.
