    Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Barbaresco

    Bad starting cause that low quality cork.
    Nedding some time to blow up. Then complex nose of meat, earth, varnish and black truffles is shown.
    On the palate it is a delicate, silky wine with an elegant texture and finish.
    Modern? Could be but at this point, absolutely delicious matching a sucking pig.

    Mal comienzo por ese corcho de dudosa calidad.
    Necesitando algo de tiempo para abrirse. Después muestra una nariz compleja a carne, tierra, barniz y trufa negra.
    En boca es un vino delicado, sedoso con una elegante textura y final.
    ¿Moderno? Así sería pero en este momento es absolutamente delicioso acompañando un lechón al horno.

    That's the result of almost six years cellering.
    Lovely aromas on the nose and quite complex, long and bitter on the palate.
    To repeat the experience...

  • 2002 René-Henri Coutier Champagne Grand Cru Cuvée Henri III

    France, Champagne, Champagne Grand Cru

    I was shooked by this one.
    More a wine than a simple Champagne, showed a rich, complex to the bone nose of Pinot Meunier. Long, very long with reminiscenses of last 98 Pol Roger Winston Churchill Cuvee.
    Elegant and aristocratic aromas.
    Shortie and watery on the palate. A pity because a 95+ was knocking my door...

    Más un vino que un simple champán mostró una nariz a Meunier compleja hasta la médula. Larga, muy larga con reminiscencias del último Cuvee W. Churchill 98 de Pol Roger.
    Elegante y aristocráticos aromas.
    Cortita y acuosa en boca. Una lástima porque una puntación de 95+ estaba llamando a puertas...

    For what it is...a serious Tawny at this range.
    Typical red Port colour, good depth and full mouth sensation.
    I liked.

    Típico color rojo de Oporto, buena profundidad y sensación de boca llena.

    Impressed cause that bottle has been open almost four years.
    Still a delicious PC, complex and with that sweet touch finishing.
