Wine that requires discussion. The aromas are spectacular, sophisticated, complex and based on black fruits. In the mouth, a bit astringent and unbalanced. It has excellent acidity; asks for food. Maybe aging, restore the balance.
We tasted blind the following wines: Remírez of Ganuza Reserva 2005, Alion 2001 and Vega-Sicilia Unico 2000. All similar to each other and characterized by a high quality, elegance, balance, good acidity and well integrated wood. Youngs. Choosing the best was not an easy task and led discussions. In the majority opinion, the Alion 2001 was the best, followed by Remírez of Ganuza Reserva 2005. I liked all, but I preferred the Remírez of Ganuza.

Very good. Elegant. Aromas of black fruits. 2003 was not its best vintage, but it does not disappoint. This is an excellent producer who makes a difference
