Introduction
Always a great tasting.
Flight 1 - The reds (18 Notes)
Standouts for me were the Casanova di Neri, Michele Chiarlo and Fontodi wines.
Flight 2 - The whites (11 Notes)
It is hard to beat well made Italian whites for food friendly, inexpensive, and interesting wines. Especially on hot summer days.

Elegant but slightly more intense and riper than the '10 Martinenga. Very dry, cherry fruit. Pretty good.

Structured, rich, powerful, dry, dark fruit, slight earth, licorice. Delicious and a standout among a bunch of very nice wines.

I hope I have the correct bottling for this note. Earthier, drier than the '09 Campolungo Riserva. Nice red fruits. Good structure.

Nice Bordeaux blend with tart dark fruit, fine tannin, good acidity and hints of bell pepper. Will be nice with some time in the bottle.
