Clear med purple color. Clean, med+ intensity, all sorts of small black fruits, with figs and prunes, fresh oak notes, coffee liquer, toast, youthful. Dry, med+ body and intensity, high alcohol and acidity, big and a bit grainy tannins, the palate is copying the nose in terms of density and character, nicely balanced despite the occassional alcohol bite, currants and raisins in the long aftertaste. Outstanding quality, premium price, drinking from now and a long life ahead.

A bit hazy ruby color with only the faintest evolution in the rim. Clean, med+ intensity, thick core of black fruits (cherries and berries), bitter chocolate, cinnamon and nutmeg, raisin, freskly cut wood, still a bit closed but youthful all the same. Dry/off dry, med+ body, med intensity, high alcohol, med+/high acidity, big tannins, big black cherry character, figs and plums as well, balanced towards alcohol, almost sterilizing effect, espresso beans coming after a while, chocolate med+ finish. Very good wine, premium price, drinking now but can age, I just can't get over the alcohol level.

Clear pale ruby color. Clean, medium intensity, aromas of black berries, prunes, dried figs, with coffee beans, black raisins, black cherries, chocolate bits and hints of oak, youthful. The wine is feels off dry, medium+ body, and intensity, med+ acidity with high alcohol, even though its well hidden, tannins are medium+ but round, not much fruit going on, more of coffee and chocolate, rather thin in concentration terms, with some black cherries and prunes in a med finish. Very good quality, premium price, drink now but can age.

Clear tawny/garnet color. Clean in the nose, med+ intensity, mellow aromas of ripe black cherriesm a bit of animal notes, raisins with nutmeg. Developing. Dry, med body, intensity, med+ acidity and high alcohol, you can actually tast the alcohol more here, tannins are drying, more coffee and bitter chocolate, prunes as well, better structure, solid and has more impact on the mouth, less fruit character and with a med+ finish. Very good quality, premium price, drinking now and it could age, but I think it would be better now

Clear, med to deep tawny, more alive than the 2000. Clean in the nose, with med intensity, evolved character showing coffee beans, chocolate, less black cherry and more prunes and raisins, sweet oak notes over leather and black pepper, developing to developed. Feels almost off dry, med+ body, intensity, high alcohol and med+ acidity, tannins completely dissolved and round, high notes of coffee and bitter chocolate, cinnamon and nutmeg, more oaky and less black fruits, alcohol and acidity winning in the balance battle, grainy and med finish. Very good quality, premium price, drinking now rather than later.

Clear pale/mid tawny. Clean, med intensity, subdued and introvert at first, sweet to overripe cherry aromas, raisin, leather, sweet spices, developed. Dry to off dry, med+ body, intensity, acidity and m+/high alcohol, tannins are still kicking, being alcohol being more apparent here than the nose, overall burning, coffee beans,oaky flavors with bitter chocolate, blackcherries, med finish. Outstanding quality, premium price, fully developed but not going downhill yet.
