    Deep purple.
    A complex nose, fruity with a touch of oak.
    Slightly bitter fruit attack which caresses the tongue before the hit of tannins.

    Deep purple.
    A rather closed, muted nose, but there's some fruit.
    Earthy but refined, very obvious tannins, not for keeping.

    Showing a bit of age.
    Rich interesting nose, initially vegetal then the fruit kicks in.
    Generous fruit and complementary tannin balance, maybe for keeping 2 or 3 years more.

    Dark with defined tinge of age.
    Abundantly fruity nose with a vegetal and animal farmyard background.
    An enjoyable wine, fruity attack with a bitter finish, plateaued.

    A tarry nose, ripe black fruit, slightly porty.
    A generous taste, sweet fruity attack with great acid balance.

    A vegetal nose with stewed prunes.
    Fruity with good balance.

    Very obvious age.
    A farmyard nose mingled with oak and fruity molasses.
    There's still plenty of tannin keeping this wine going.
