    Nose: honey dew melon, cheese, oak.
    Palate: a hint of honey and sweet tropical fruits. Fairly fresh acidity but short aftertaste. Yellow plums.
    Seems irrelevant.

  • 2009 Alexandre Jouveaux Bourgogne Blanc 92 Points

    France, Burgundy, Bourgogne Blanc

    Funky nose with yeast and some brown apples and a little vanilla.
    Yellow plums and red apple flavors with quite a lot of acidity. Has a little bit of bubbles in it.
    Decadent and sweet.
    Quite an interesting wine that pushes the envelope of what is possible but still keeping it interesting.

    Intense nose filled with rhubarb and red currants but also a lot of freshly ground black pepper.
    Elegant and feminine palate with red currants and freshly ground coffee. Edgy acidity with loads of intensity. A great wine.

    Red currant and raspberry nose that is quite intense and also showing forest floor, white pepper, mushrooms.
    Very fresh and acidic on the palate with a little leather and forest floor. Still a solid tannin structure that structures the wine nicely.
