Pale lake with pale pink rim, rusty hues, seemingly aged; watermelon, rhubarb, light cherry and strawberry, fresher and seemingly younger, orange; light extraction, sweet, almost confected note, sour almost stewed cherry, a rocky element that's not limestone; couldn't figure this out; not exactly a fan.
See through crimson core with reddish orange rim; rubber tire, cherry, roses, hard to get under all of the plastic notes; fuller palate, an adolescent, cherry, cedar, tannin, good acid, shorter finish; varietally correct but I'd rather spend a bit more to get a lot more.
Dark cloudy core with bricking, extracted; saline, currant, chocolate, cherry liqueur, a certain freshness to it, seaweed, a little shy; spicy, chocolate, red fruit, white chocolate, very ripe fruit, modern almost Cali-esque, plummy, great soft texture; tasty though I thought the bottle may have seen some heat; based on the ripeness in the fruit I was on '03 modern Bordeaux but others were in the nineties.
Dark core with medium+ extraction, bright garnet rim; nice floral nose, violets, plum, blackberries, juicy; fresh acidity, spice, cinnamon, some tannin, juicy berry, dark cherry fruit; delicious; give this a year or two because it is built to age, I'm looking forward to my '07!
